29/9 Not invented here, please! Co-creation with startups and partners
Large corporations tend to be excellent at incremental innovation. However, most struggle with what comes next, with disruptive innovations, new business models, or even innovations based on technology new to a particular organisation. Corporate venture funds, corporate-startup accelerators and other types of co-creation initiatives have mushroomed up in the past 3 - 5 years. And with that, the learnings of what works and what doesn’t. Because let’s be honest, when you are a very large elephant, it takes some adjustment and learning to become good friends with a gazelle.
In this online event, you are up for a treat! Anna-Karin Lindblom, Head of Digital Service & Innovation at Rexel, who has previously established innovation functions at such companies as Husqvarna and FLIR Systems, will share her dos and don’ts of collaboration with startups and partners. How do you start collaborating with startups? How do you redesign your processes, so that the startup doesn’t run out of money by the time you manage to book the first meeting with the internal stakeholders? And how do you maximize the chances to move beyond initial interest and actually realise value for both sides? These are some of the questions Anna-Karin will highlight in her talk.
