27/11 How does the forest industry compete with self-driving trucks, drones and AI?

Innovationsledarna Nod Middle Sweden have invited Tanja Keisu,,Head of Biometria Labs, to talk about how new technology such as AI can be a crucial industry benefit through data-driven innovation.

Did you know that the forest accounts for about 10 percent of Swedish exports? Sweden is one of the world's largest exporters of pulp, paper, and sawn timber. Working with innovation for a more efficient business could thus make a big difference in strengthening the country's opportunities in international competition.

Self-driving trucks, timber stocks inventoried by drones, 5G, and artificial intelligence will together be able to automate and streamline much of what is demanding today.

What does the future look like and how does a company like Biometria work with innovation to strengthen the ecosystem's actors in the work?

This is what Tanja Keisu, who leads the work in the Biometria Labs department, tells In Labs, the work in innovation and business development is conducted in close collaboration with the industry.
