12/9 Ten-year anniversary: Changing the dynamics of innovation management

Welcome to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of Innovationsledarna! We return to the venue at RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) of the first members meeting in November 2013. Introductory remarks will be provided by Marco Lucisano, Senior VP, Built Environment, RISE.

In the first part, we will reflect on the past ten years and discuss how we together can shape the next ten years of the innovation management profession. Panel participants include:

  • Karin Ekdahl Wästberg, Director of Innovation, City of Stockholm

  • Stefan Vlachos, Head of Health Works, AstraZeneca

  • Anders Wikström, Associate Professor, Mälardalen University

  • Magnus Karlsson, Chairman, Innovationsledarna

In the second part, we will share experiences from several case studies of diverse organizations from around the globe aiming for a systematic and systems approach to innovation management. The session is based on the book Changing the Dynamics and Impact of Innovation Management - A Systems Approach and the ISO Standard. Authors and editors will participate, including:

  • John Bessant, Professor Emeritus of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, University of Exeter

  • Joanne Hyland, President, rInnovation Group, and Board Member, ISPIM

  • Catrin Gustavsson, Senior Vice President Innovation and New Business, Södra

  • Åse Lundh Gravenius, Innovation Manager, Center for Innovation, Karolinska University Hospital

  • Ingrid Kihlander, Researcher, RISE Research Institutes of Sweden

  • Lukas Bard, Lead Cybersecurity Consultant, Tietoevry

In the final part, we will invite all participants to reflect on critical innovation management knowledge and skills as input to a future ISO competence framework standard. The workshop will be introduced by Charlie Tuxworth, Managing Partner, Celsio, and facilitated by Vilho Jonsson, Founder, Curlabs, and Natalie Gustafsson, Innovation Manager, RISE.

There will also be time to meet, mingle, and exchange views with colleagues during the meeting!
