Bottom up innovation with the power of your network

Join us for an exciting members meeting hosted at Ericsson Imagine Studio. We have the great opportunity to hear insightful perspectives on bottom-up innovation from two of our inspiring members, Stina Almkvist, Region Norrbotten, and Trond Bugge, Ericsson.

Stina Almkvist, Region Norrbotten, will talk about the historic paradigm shift that is underway in Norrbotten when the industry is to become green and sustainable. The challenge is to make the industrial transformation, as well as a sustainable societal transformation. To cope with this, many parallel problems must be solved, and the population needs to grow with 100,000 people by the year 2035, from today's 250,000. The method for reaching the goal has been to include all municipalities, both large and small, around a common process that has been designated as a social innovation, recognised by OECD.

Trond Bugge, Ericsson One, will share with us how in Silicon Valley and Kista, Ericsson ONE Venture Studio supports Ericsson employees from around the world with pioneering new business ideas to develop these and build successful ventures. The awarded 5i process involves rapidly creating, testing and validating ideas and prototypes, building a minimum viable product, and if everything goes well, developing it into a fully fledged, accelerator unit within Ericsson's portfolio.
